Title page

01] There are no nonstandard abbreviations in the title
02] Full author names are supplied
03] Institutional affiliations are clearly indicated
04] 3 to 10 key-words are listed. They are MeSH terms that do not appear in the title
05] Nonstandard abbreviations, together with their expansions, are listed in alphabetical order
06] Complete address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address of the corresponding author appear in title page

Abstract

07] The abstract is structured
08] The abstract does not exceed 250 words
09] There are no nonstandard abbreviations, footnotes, or reference in the abstract
10] Tables or Figures are not cited in the abstract

Text

11] The text is adequately structured
12] The text is clear, easy to follow, and legible
13] The English is grammatically correct and idiomatic
14] The exact P values (3 digits) have been reported for all the statistical evaluations performed.

References

15] References are cited in the text by numbers enclosed in brackets
16] References are numbered in order in which they are cited in the text
17] References are listed at the end of the text in consecutive order
18] The reference style complies with the "Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals"
19] All authors' names are provided when fewer than seven. When seven or more, the first six are listed and "et al" is added
